Rewarewa Honey, 250 gram jar

Rewarewa or NZ honeysuckle: (Knightia Excelsa) Tree reaching 30 metres and is of a tall and tapering form. The trunk is up to 1 metre across. Flowers occur during October and November. The rewarewa is found in lowland and sub-alpine forest from Northland to Marlborough and in some areas it is very commmon. Rewerewa honey is a golden colour and has a delightful flavour.
